You know what’s really bothering me about this whole Warehouse13 facebook situation? The fact that if HG Wells really was a man, these “idiots” would, most likely, not have the slightest problem with Myka and HG becoming cannon. Hell, I think the most of them would ship the crap out of them because of their OBVIOUS love and attraction for each other.
But no! Because HG is a woman, there is all this sexual-orientation crap thrown onto it. This NEVER happens when a guy and a girl fall in love, no one says, “Hey wait, but you’re implying that they are straight for each other. What gives you the right to thrust a sexual orientation on those two people who are in love?” Do we all see how ridiculous that sounds?
No one has the right to talk about two people in love, and then call it invalid based on how you perceive their sexual-orientation. Love is love.
